War Of The Emperium

The Gathering Storm

"I have a feeling that things are far from being over."

The fight hasnt even reached its zenith. The opponent merely took a break and left the ring for a few minutes. But the truth was, the battle was still waging. The battle wasnt in its climax yet. Nobody knew what was about to take place in Midgard.

A chain reaction of events had already started

In Geffen, the Wizards and Sages were celebrating the return of a leader. Nerva alThor, thought of dead, returned to the mysterious and magical soil of the city of magic. Using his cunning and extraordinary intellect he governed Geffen with an iron hand. Nobody questioned his laws and his rules.

The Sages and Wizards knew how to keep a secret. Nobody outside the protective walls of the Mjoinir mountain range knew that Nerva alThor now rules as Geffens highest leader. That news was kept secret, for how long nobody knew.

Altair Thorne has not yet told Firnheild about Nerva. He and Signy were silent. No matter how persistent Wealthow was they never said a word. They avoided joining the investigations being done in Izlude, knowing it was risky.

But Altair was also suffering from an intense internal struggle.

A Blacksmith, when forging his greatest work, establishes a deep connection with his weapon. Somehow the Blacksmith can sense if his work is still alive or dead. It was a deep kind of feeling that even Geffens Wizards and Sages could not solve its mystery and unwound its magic.

Heavens Blade was still alive, and Altair knew it. He did not know where his sword was, but it was there, calling out to him, begging to be reclaimed. Heavens Blade was indestructible, and there was a great possibility that it survived the fire that destroyed the Red Roses castle.

Altair went back to the burnt ruins, but could not find his sword there. He tried in vain to search for it, but he never found it.

Heavens Blades calls were getting stronger. Finally one day it became desperate. Altair did everything in his power to search for his lost child. But suddenly the calls stopped. Altair tried to listen, but he couldnt hear the voice anymore. It seemed that Heavens Blade finally died

A War was looming. A War that had never been fought before. And it was a war that will claim many lives, including those of great men. The War of Emperium, the greatest war fought between guilds, was just about to start.
